Frost/Nixon

Frost/Nixon has earned Golden Globe noms for Best pic, Best director (Ron Howard - a PSIFF Awards Gala honoree for Director's Lifetime Achievement Award), Best actor (Frank Langella), Best screenplay (Peter Morgan) and Best original score (Hans Zimmer).

Just after seeing FROST/NIXON...powerful and moving, mostly due to Langella. Maybe it should have been titled "M" as a counterpoint to "W" earlier this season (but I guess "M" was taken as a film title!). But the point is, what a difference between the two men.Nixon the stuff of tragedy and Bush the stuff of farce. I can't imagine a filmmaker in the future making a moving picture about the current buffoon. Thanks for the mini-festival; (maybe the snack bar should offer a low-salt, cholestoral free menu for festival audiences?

Frank Langella turned into Richard Nixon about 15 minutes into the film. Superb acting and writing. Well done
